FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely manufacture of articles of refractory nickel alloys used in aviation and electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of forming pellets by centrifugal plasma atomizing of rotating blank at revolution number determined according to formula n = 2.15 x 106/( x1 + x2 ) where n - revolution number of blank, rev/min; x1 - minimum size of pellets of suitable fraction, micrometers; x2 - maximum size of pellets of suitable fraction, micrometers. Then sifting is realized at feeding mass of pellets determined according to formula Gp = Gr/Qmax where Gp -ultimately minimum mass of initial pellets with optimal fraction content designed for sifting, kg; Gr -target mass of pellets with predetermined fraction content received after sifting, kg; Q max - calculated maximum yield at sifting. Prepared mass of pellets is cleaned from inclusions. It is poured into capsule and subjected to isostatic pressing for producing article. Method allows receive desired mass of pellets of predetermined fraction content from ultimately minimum mass of initial pellets.

EFFECT: rational consumption of metal for producing article.
