Abstract RU 2308550 C2

FIELD: pneumatic transporting systems, possibly feeding of alumina to high-power aluminum cells arranged across electrolysis housings and loading of alumina to hoppers for automatic supply of it.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes mounted on support and driven to motion from common rotary shaft hinged parallelograms. Annular elastic collar is secured to surface of flange with reciprocal thread. Support is mounted in upper platform of cell. Spouts for delivering alumina to hoppers for automatic feed of it include upper part and joined to it by inclination angle lower part. Upper part of spout having rectangular or round cross section is rigidly joined with lateral wall of upper cavity of air-chute for material supply by inclination angle 25 - 45°. Alumina is charged to said cavity from system through loading end of air chute. Hose is joined with discharging apparatus of system for feeding alumina to air-chute.

EFFECT: possibility for transporting alumina to automatic feed hoppers of high-power aluminum cells arranged across electrolysis housings, lowered labor consumption for dismounting any of hoppers for restoring it, possibility for keeping remaining mechanisms of said hoppers and air-chute itself in operational state.
