FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solid-propellant rocket engines with insert powder charge. Proposed solid-propellant rocket engine contains combustion chamber, solid-propellant tubular charge and device for fixing charge on radial pins. Pins are secured in wall of combustion chamber, are made in number not less than two in one cross section of charge and with length to middle of charge burning dome, maximum. Axial distance from end face of charge to pin is greater than or equal to half of thickness of burning dome. Stop is made on each pin at surface of charge.
EFFECT: improved stability of operation of engine with charge fitted on radial pins owing to prevention of radial displacement of charge, projection of pins into charge tube and preservation of attachment hole of pin in charge during entire period of charge burning.
