FIELD: mechanical engineering; mechanisms with V-belt drives.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device for damping vibrations in drive mechanisms with flexible coupling contains at least one belt pulley consisting of several parts. Belt pulley has carrying part and at least two segments of belt pulley connected to each other with damping members placed in between so that they form common operating diameter of pulley to pass flexible coupling over. Belt pulley has at least one free space to permit flexible displacement of belt pulley segments absorbing appearing vibrations in direction of hub.
EFFECT: improved vibration damping of drive.
