TENSION DEVICE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F16H7/12

Abstract RU 2295075 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: tension device comprises lever (101) and spring (109). One end of spring (109) is connected with the movable member that is connected with reduction gear (104) actuated by an electric motor, which allows the control of spring position. Other end of spring (109) is connected with damping mechanism (108) that, in turn, engages lever (101) of the tension device. The electric motor and reduction gear (104) control the position of movable member and, thus, the end of spring (109) by the control signal supplied from the control device. The position of the end of spring (109) controls loading of the spring and, thus, the tension of the belt in the system. The damping mechanism interacts with the housing of the tension device for damping vibration of lever (101) of the tension device.

EFFECT: improved design and expanded functional capabilities.
