SUBSTANCE: with the help of a standard spoon for teeth-free jaw one should obtain a preliminary alginate imprint. In oral cavity it is necessary to mark the borders of the individual spoon followed by fitting the alginate imprint in oral cavity. For this purpose it is necessary to obtain the print of the borders at its surface. One should cut the imprint's edge along the border at developing a horizontal platform, according to the fitted alginate imprint one should mold a gypsum model and reduce it with a plate of stirrup wax. One should stick a strip of special wax onto the plate at the bottom of alveolar crest along the whole perimeter of the model. The spoon should be manufactured out of self-hardening plastic. Then one should remove the strip of stirrup wax, form volumetric external edge of the spoon made of a roller of silicone mass. The latter is against a step obtained after removing the strip and completely fills the transitional fold. The spoon should be introduced into oral cavity and pressed towards the prosthesis field. After complete hardening of bordering mass the spoon should be withdrawn out of oral cavity. The innovation enables to simplify the technique described, shorten the time for forming volumetric external edge of individual spoon and increase the physiological nature of the method.
