FIELD: engineering of devices for decorative processing of products made of metal or material of similar hardness, possible use for applying images, deepened into surface of material being processed.
SUBSTANCE: electric etching hammer contains body with guides and electric motor, made to be comfortably held in hand, on the shaft of which cylindrical disk is eccentrically fastened, onto which rolling bearing is placed, interacting with carriage, which moves together with tool along guides within limits of a gap set by adjusting screw, gap being determined by disk eccentricity.
EFFECT: increased reliability of device, simplified construction, adjusted frequency of hammer strikes and cutting value.
