FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an improved method for hydrogenation of aromatic compounds in hydrocarbon raw containing thiophene compounds as impurities. Method involves using a reactor for hydrogenation containing fresh charge of a nickel-base activated catalyst. Method involves addition of hydrocarbon raw containing hydrocarbons boiling in the range 80-350°C, aromatic compounds in the range of concentrations 1-80 weight% and thiophene compounds in the range of concentrations 0.1-50 ppm into the indicated hydrogenation reactor. Exploitation of the indicated hydrogenation reactor is carried out at the reaction temperature from onset of cycle in the range 140-225°C, and hydrocarbon product containing aromatic compounds in the concentration less 0.2 weight% are removed from the indicated hydrogenation reactor. Invention provides increasing time exploitation of catalyst.
EFFECT: improved hydrogenation method.
