FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises scanning the multiphase flow by means of rotating high-frequency electric and magnetic fields in two distant measuring parts of the pipeline. The scanning signal has a single frequency and is normalized. The scanning signals produced are processed by means of extracting the maximum of the amplitude-frequency characteristics of signals and are used for calculating the integral correlation function.

EFFECT: enhanced precision.
