FIELD: invention may be used in informational-measuring systems in oil-producing and petroleum refining industries particularly for definition of flow rate of well.

SUBSTANCE: basis of invention is in maximal receipt of information about structure of multi-phase current due to scanning it on each measuring section with rotating high frequency electrical and magnetic fields with single carrier frequency of scanning signal, autonomous processing of received signals of scanning with separation of maximum of amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency characteristics of signals and usage of results of these measurements for calculating correlative functions. Additionally all four scanning signals are processed in microprocessor. Summary and fractional consumption is defined by comparison of measured parameters with reference parameters from data bank.

EFFECT: provides increase of accuracy of measurements.
