METHOD FOR EVALUATING THE DEGREE OF GESTOSIS SEVERITY Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01N33/84 G01N33/68

Abstract RU 2309412 C1

FIELD: medicine, obstetrics.

SUBSTANCE: starting from the 5th wk of pregnancy it is necessary to detect the content of endothelin-1 (ET) and sodium oxide metabolites (nitrites and nitrates - NOx) in blood serum. At NOx content ranged 20.9-24.8 mcM/l, and ET-1 ranged 0.7-3.9 pkg/ml one should conclude upon the development of light-degree gestosis, and at NOx value ranged 24.8-49.6 mcM/l, and ET-1 ranged 4.0-8.3 pkg/ml one should diagnose average-degree gestosis. The innovation suggested enables to decrease pharmacological impact upon a mother and a fetus due to prescribing up-to-date adequate therapy of gestosis that corresponds to its severity degree.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of evaluation.
