FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to obstetrics and gynecology, and discloses a method for prediction of preeclampsia in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus. Method involves blood testing of pregnant woman and determination of glycated fibronectin level and, in case, if pregnancy is accompanied by left-sided location of the placenta and the sex of the fetus is male, and the fibronectin level is 315 pmol/ml, the development of preeclampsia during pregnancy is predicted. Declared method enables timely preventive therapy that will have a favorable effect on perinatal outcomes and reduced incidence of newborns.
EFFECT: invention can be used in prediction of preeclampsia in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus in the second-third trimester.
