FIELD: device and method for cutting of a hole, for example, of a port, in a plane base.
SUBSTANCE: the device has at least a means for cutting, first and second cylinders and a means for evacuation of the cut portion of the base. The first cylinder carries and moves the base with the means for grip about the first axis of rotation. The second cylinder has a means for cutting having the shape of the hole, and rotates about the second axis of rotation parallel with the first axis of rotation. The second axis of rotation is installed on the means of lateral shift for bringing the second cylinder to the cutting position relative to the second cylinder. The method for cutting of a hole consists in the following stages: retaining of the base on the first cylinder; moving of the second cylinder to the cylinder that carries the base; application of the means of cutting attached to the second cylinder to the base, and cutting of the mentioned hole; retaining of the base portion cut by the cutting means; moving of the second cylinder from the first cylinder, and evacuation of the cut portion of the base.
