FIELD: drilling and blasting operations, applicable in various branches using blasting operations in hard rocks.
SUBSTANCE: the method consists in forming of a charge of water-resistant explosive in the partially flooded holes to a high of the water column, expectation of the water drop to the static level and forming of the rest charge of nonwater proof explosive. After the drop of the water displaced by the lower part of the charge upwards in the hole, if the static level of water coincides with or is below the estimated level of setting of the air gap, an air gap is formed above it of foamed polystyrene, and the upper part of the charge of nonwaterproof explosive is formed above it.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of explosive crushing of rocks due to creation of an air gap in the explosive charge formed in a partially flooded hole.
