FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: device for monitoring the flow meter comprises interface for receiving output signals from the flow meter, memory containing data base on previous errors, system for processing data, and log for recording errors. The system for processing data collects the output signals from the flow meter, writes them into the memory of data on values obtained before error, and detects the error in the output signals.

EFFECT: reduced memory capacity.
