FIELD: radio engineering and communications; analog integrated-circuit structures of various functional applications.
SUBSTANCE: proposed differential amplifier has first and second input transistors 1 and 2 whose emitters are connected to respective emitters of first and second output transistors 2 and 4 of reverse polarity of conductivity whose bases are interconnected, collector of first input transistor 1 being connected to input 5 of current mirror 6 whose collector output 7 is coupled with first reference-current supply 8. Newly introduced in amplifier circuit are second reference-current supply 9, second current mirror 10, and common-mode output adder 11 for two signals; input 12 of second current mirror 10 is coupled with collector of second input transistor 2, its collector output 13 is connected to first input 14 of adder 11 and to second reference-current supply 9; collector output 7 of first current mirror 6 is connected to second input 15 of adder 11 whose output 16 is coupled with interconnected bases of output transistors 3 and 4.
EFFECT: extended dynamic range, enhanced gain and common-mode signal damping factor.
