FIELD: material grinding technique used in mining, ore mining, metallurgical, chemical, construction industry and in mechanical engineering, as well as in ecological processes for secondary processing of solid industrial and domestic waste.
SUBSTANCE: material grinding apparatus has housing with charging and discharge devices, milling chamber filled with milling bodies and made in the form of curved spiral pipe of resilient material, said pipe being connected to drive, mechanism designed for axial displacement of milling chamber and comprising screw pair and calibrating washers for keeping gap between milling chamber coils, said gap corresponding to desired size of produced particles. Barrier mounted within milling chamber, along its upper part, is formed as rectangular bar having height equal to diameter of milling bodies. Lower part of bar is coated with elastic material such as rubber layer which covers 0.6-0.7 part of bar height.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider operational capabilities of apparatus.
