FIELD: manufacture of rolling rolls.
SUBSTANCE: roll includes carrying profiled arbor with limiting shoulder and bandage joined with arbor at fitting and having profiled inner surface reciprocal to profiled surface of arbor. Invention prevents turning of bandage relative to arbor and destruction of bandage at operation due to design of carrying arbor. The last includes at least two cylindrical portions; lengthwise axes of adjacent portions are shifted in radial direction by value e determined according to inequality: 0.5(D -d)< e < 0.5(D x ΔT x αt + D - d - δ) where D - maximum diameter of cylindrical portion of bandage; d - minimum diameter of cylindrical portion of bandage; ΔT - bandage heating temperature; αt - linear expansion factor of bandage metal; δ -tightness.
EFFECT: improved design of roll preventing bandage turning around arbor and its destruction at operation.
