FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling, specifically working roll stands of hot and cold rolling mills. Roll includes a carrier profiled axis with a restrictive shoulder, displaced in the plane of the bend relative to the axis of rotation of the roll, and mating with it on the fit of the bandage of the response form. Possibility of improving the manufacturability of the roll by reducing operations during the machining of the axis is provided due to the fact that profiled axis consists of cylindrical sections of equal diameter, the first of which is adjacent to the restrictive shoulder, and the second section is inclined to the first at an angle. Moreover, each cylindrical section is inclined to the axis of rotation of the roll at a certain angle. Bearing profiled axis is shifted perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the roll by an amount regulated by a mathematical expression.
EFFECT: proposed composite mill roll.
