FIELD: manufacturing procedure.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling, specifically working roll stands of hot and cold rolling mills. Roll comprises a carrier shaped axle with restrictive collar and shell matching the axle with inner surface of striking form. Risk of destruction of the axle and shell during the assembly and disassembly of the roll is reduced due to the fact that the profiled axis consists of cylindrical sections whose longitudinal axes are offset relative to each other to form an eccentricity, while the bevel is made at the edge of the cylindrical portion of the supporting axis spaced from the restraint. Angle of the bevel and the distance of the plane of displacement of the cylindrical sections of the carrier axis from the restrictive shoulder are regulated by mathematical expressions.
EFFECT: reduction in the risk of destruction of the axle carrier and the shell during the assembly and disassembly of the roll.
