SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling, specifically working roll stands of hot and cold rolling. Profiled axis formed of two cylindrical portions of equal diameter, first of which is adjacent to confining collar, a second portion inclined at an angle to first α. Improving reliability of connection band with carrier axis by eliminating wear from microdisplacements of elements of band from carrier axis is ensured by that carrier profiled axis is offset in plane of bend with respect to axis of rotation of roll in opposite direction by amount of bending Δ, determined from relationship: 0 < Δ < L·tgα, where L is length of second portion, wherein band has mating shape.
EFFECT: composite rolling roll comprises a carrier shaped axle with restrictive collar and matched with a band on landing.
