FIELD: manufacturing processes for making hygienic and heating equipment, namely equipment for drying towels, possibly in home.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of rough and finish grinding of outer surface of measured-length tube blank 1; shaping return duct of modular member 2 of towel drier; assembling towel drier and performing finish working of its surface. Rough grinding is realized for three passes by rotating tube blank and subjecting it to axial oscillation between endless abrasive belt 3 being in contact with blank and driven elastomer-base disc 4 at using water base cutting fluid and providing axial feed 0.1 - 7.0 m/min, revolution number 1500 - 3200 rev/min and at depth of feed set by means of driving disc. Finish grinding is realized for two passes; first pass is performed at polishing blank till its surface roughness Ra (0.19 - 0.198) micrometers in order to receive reflection coefficient up to 95 %. Then predetermined modular member of towel drier is shaped and assembling it. Second pass is performed at super-polishing by discrete-successive dipping of modular member of towel drier into electrolyte according to preset law at dipping speed inversely proportional to polished surface area of modular members; creating vapor-gas envelope near outer surface of worked member and initiating electric discharges between electrolyte and worked surface for achieving surface roughness degree Ra (0.16 - 0.18) micrometers and reflection coefficient up to 99%.

EFFECT: possibility for working complex-shape articles, lowered by two-three classes surface roughness, creation of bright metallic gloss.
