FIELD: pressure die casting processes and equipment, namely apparatus for providing manufacture of improved neck ring.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for extracting plastics article out of mold includes neck ring having three portions. First portion is made with possibility of touching cast plastics article along line parallel to lifting direction. Second portion is made with possibility of touching outer segment of sealing surface of cast plastics article along line normal to lifting direction. Second portion is made in such a way that it does not touch inner segment of sealing surface of cast plastics article. Third portion is arranged on side of second portion opposite relative to first portion. Third portion has cone surface with acute angle no less than 90° relative to second portion. Cone surface of third portion is made with possibility of touching end surface of cast plastics article along line inclined by acute angle relative to second portion and with possibility of sealing abutted surface of core.

EFFECT: improved apparatus for extracting article out of mold providing rapid effective cooling of neck and simultaneously shortening its operation cycle, reduced cost of making plastics blanks of core.
