FIELD: cooling tube units for cooling deformed cast plastics part and method for cooling such parts.
SUBSTANCE: cooling tube unit includes porous pipe-insert having profiled surface and vacuum structure that may engage with outer surface of porous pipe-insert. At using cooling tube unit, vacuum structure creates evacuation near inner surface for providing contact of inner surface of porous insert with outer surface of deformed cast plastics part arranged inside cooling tube. Portion of outer surface of deformed part arranged inside tube unit is brought to contact with inner surface of porous insert. In the result at cooling process, profile of substantial portion of outer surface of deformed cast part is formed in such a way that it corresponds to profile of inner surface of insert. Cooling tube may have extruded tube having at least one cooling duct formed by extrusion. Extruded cooling tube may be made for operation without porous insert. Porous cooling cavity is formed with possibility of communicating with vacuum system and it is designed for placing in it and cooling relatively hot cast plastics part. Said cavity includes porous cooling insert made of porous material and having profiled inner surface whose profile practically corresponds to that of portion of outer surface of cast plastics part. Said cavity may communicate with vacuum source through structure interacting with vacuum system for creating lowered pressure near inner surface of porous insert. In order to cool relative hot cast plastics part, it is placed into porous cooling cavity with profiled inner surface corresponding to outer surface of cast plastic part. Then evacuation is created near profiled inner surface of porous cooling cavity while cast plastics part is moved till contact of portion of its outer surface with said inner surface for imparting desired shape to it. Heat is sunk from cast plastics part by heat dissipation for solidifying cast plastics part. Design of cooling tube and method for rapid effective cooling of newly cast plastics part arranged inside cooling tube are offered according to invention.
EFFECT: improved stability of blank, shortened cycle for making part.
