FIELD: polymer production and catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to titanium-containing solution suitable for use in polyester production catalyst, to catalyst based thereon, and to polyester manufacture process involving indicated catalyst. Titanium-containing solution contains 0.05-20% titanium-containing monomer or polymer containing not more than 100 elementary units, 4-99% aliphatic diol, and 0.1-95% tri- and higher-atomic alcohol. According to second embodiment, titanium-containing solution is characterized by prevalent particle size of titanium-containing compound within a range of 0.4-5 nm. Preparation of titanium-containing solution, catalyst containing this solution, and polyester-based resin manufacture are also disclosed.
EFFECT: achieved storage stability of solution with high concentration of titanium component and increased homogeneity thereof when supplying catalyst to polyester manufacture process.
