FIELD: production of iron ore raw materials in ferrous metallurgy, namely equipment of agglomeration conveyer machines, particularly design of sintering cars.
SUBSTANCE: agglomeration conveyer machine includes sintering cars having housing with carrying frames, beads and rectilinear beams. Boundary rectilinear beams of adjacent cars are mutually spaced by distance consisting of 0.0025 - 0.010 of their height and they are provided with removable cover plates arranged in edges of beam opposite relative to similar cover plates of adjacent car with possibility of mutual contact. Total contact surface area is no more than 0.2 of car abutting surface area and the last value is no more than 0.5 of surface area of rectilinear beams while height of abutted surface is equal at least to 0.3 of height of rectilinear beams. Usage of such cover plates allows enhance restoration capability of sintering cars with rectilinear beams, provide and completely realize their increased useful life period in the result of predetermined gap between them. Said cover plates do not influence upon dynamics of gas passing in gap between rectilinear beams at given relations of surface areas. It provides reduced vertical suction of gas. Said cover plates also provide reduced lateral suction of gas.
EFFECT: improved design of sintering cars, increased useful life period of sintering cars.
