FIELD: optical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for designing and producing light-emitting big-sized diode screens used for visual presentation of video data. Screen in form of photodiode array is formed; array is divided to full-color points, each point consists of at least several light-emitting diodes of different colors, Image frame is supplied to array. Each fragment of image is reproduced onto screen by corresponding full-color of light-emitting diode point. Each frame of image is decomposed to four subframes to be memorized. First subframe has fragments, reproduced by odd full-color points disposed along horizontal and vertical lines of array. Second subframe has fragments reproduced by even full-color points dispose along horizontal line and by odd full-color points disposed along vertical line of array. Third subframe has fragments reproduced by odd full-color points disposed along horizontal line and by even full-color points disposed along vertical line of array. Fourth subframe has fragments reproduced by even full-color points disposed along horizontal and vertical lines of array. Subframes are applied to array in random order in series during some time; subframes are imposed onto array without shift and with it to one line array of light-emitting diodes.
EFFECT: improved resolution of light-emitting diode screen.
