FIELD: capsule made from cast plastic and adapted for containing of coffee or other basic food materials used for preparing of beverages by percolation process.
SUBSTANCE: capsule comprises casing 10 having upper peripheral edge 12 and lower peripheral edge 14, upper sealing foil 13 attached to peripheral edges and lower sealing foil 17. Capsule further comprises lower end partition 16 serving as insert with respect to lower edge 14. Upper chamber 25 to be filled with basic material is defined between upper sealing foil 13 and end partition 16, which has central core and multiplicity of radial ribs 26 directed downward, arranged around central core and designed for separation of respective segments from one another, wherein openings 24 are formed to thereby define lower chamber 30 positioned under upper chamber 25. On percolation through openings 24, beverage acquires turbulent motion to fill lower chamber 30 before beverage begins to pour into preliminarily placed container through opening defined upon opening or breaking of lower foil 17.
