METHOD FOR EVALUATING THE EFFICIENCY IN FORMING A SITTING POSTURE IN PATIENTS WITH STATODYNAMIC DISORDERS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B5/103

Abstract RU 2311125 C2

FIELD: medicine, functional diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: the trial should be carried out in a patient's sitting posture upon a platform at manual support upon the railings at the level of suprabrachial area for the period of 60 sec. One should register a statokinesiogram to detect deviations, the area of statokinesiogram, the frequency of the shift of pressure center projection along the supporting plane in sagittal and frontal planes, both before and after curative impact. In case of decreased deviations, the area of statokinesiogram and increased frequency it is possible to state upon the improved postural stereotype of sitting, increased posture firmness and efficiency of therapy. In case of increased deviations, the area of statokinesiogram, decreased frequency one should conclude upon worse postural stereotype of sitting, decreased posture firmness and inefficient therapy. It is necessary to investigate a patient at opened and closed eyes without tension and at the tension of axial musculature, both before and after single curative impact and/or before and after therapeutic stage and/or after the whole therapeutic course. The innovation enables to evaluate the firmness of a patient's sitting posture and efficiency of all the means to reconstruct this posture in patients both before and after therapy, and, also, detect the impact of vision and tension of axial musculature upon the posture firmness that enables to obtain new result and carry out rehabilitation in such patients more efficiently.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of evaluation.
