FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to diagnostics of support function of upper extremities. Examination is carried out on computer stabilograph. For this purpose, lower part of patient's body to waist is placed on horizontal surface which has possibility to move in height. Upper part of patient's body is placed above stabilograph platform in such way that patient's arms are lowered down at right angle to the body, straightened in elbow joints. Bases of hands are placed near limiting line of platform, fingers being straightened, forefinger being placed parallel to platform ray. Patient holds said pose and performs pressure with hands on stabiligraph platform for 51 s. Determined are: pressure of arms on platform, location of pressure centre with respect to sagittal axis, migration of pressure centre projection on support area, area of statokinesiogram, frequency of pressure centre movements. Examination is carried out before and after treatment of patient or sportsman training. In case of increase of arm pressure on platform, approaching of pressure centre to sagittal axis or location on the axis, reduction of pressure centre projection migration on support area, reduction of statokinesiogram area, increase of frequency of pressure centre movements, conclusion about improvement of arm support function is made. In case of reduction of arm pressure on platform, displacement of pressure centre away from sagittal axis, increase of pressure centre projection migration on support area, increase of statokinesiogram area, reduction of frequency of pressure centre movements, conclusion about deterioration of support function of arms is made.
EFFECT: method allows to evaluate support function of upper extremities quantitatively.
