FIELD: medicine, vascular surgery.

SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to fulfill surgical correction of vascular lumen or that of the layers of vascular wall at their opening. Moreover, increased diameter of vascular lumen and reconstruction of its vascular wall should be carried out due to introducing biopolymers based upon modified chitosan through minor incision into perivascular arterial space or fascial sheath of vascular-nervous bundle in case of any localization of vessels and at their any length. As modified chitosan one should apply its water-soluble salts of inorganic and organic acids, water-soluble sulfated chitosan derivatives, biopolymers of anionic and cationic properties. The innovation enables to reconstruct the lumen of arterial vessels in case of atherosclerotic process due to restoring a vascular wall that is not accompanied with its wide opening and lancing the vascular lumen.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of reconstruction.
