FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to vascular surgery. Retrograde pressure is measured in inferior mesenteric artery before and after clamping internal iliac arteries. Reduction of pressure by 2 mm Hg and more from initial pressure after clamping proves participation of internal iliac arteries in blood supply of left part of large intestine and therefore is an indication to re-implantation of internal iliac arteries into femoral branches of aorto-femoral prosthesis. After that retrograde pressure is re-measured in lumen of inferior mesenteric artery.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to avoid development of ischemia of left half of large intestine in early post-operation period, characterised by high lethality.
