The suggested nicotine-containing tablet consists of an absorbing filler, a sweetening agent and target additives, moreover, as the sweetening agent it contains a nonfood sweetening agent consisting of xylite and ammonium glycyrrhizinate. Method for treating against smoking deals with buccal introduction of nicotine for a patient and the control for the dosage of the introduced substance; moreover, buccal introduction should be fulfilled with the help of a tablet that contains nicotine at the quantity of 0.5-5 mg, an absorbing filler, a nonfood sweetening agent and target additives; as for the control for the introduced dosage of nicotine it should be fulfilled due to evaluating the degree of a patient's addiction to nicotine at applying the protocol of nicotine addiction. The availability of the combination of two nonfood sweetening agents in the suggested nicotine-containing tablet favors adequate taste masking during the whole period of nicotine-containing tablet presence in oral cavity till its complete resorption and preventing body weight increase in people who stop smoking.
