FIELD: manufacture of magnetically soft composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: high-purity annealed iron powder is suitable for making magnetically soft composite materials contains initial powder prepared by water spraying and having irregular shape particles with electrically insulation coating formed by treatment of annealed powder in solution containing phosphorus. Powder is annealed at temperature no less than 900°C at least for 5 min. Content of inevitable impurities in initial powder is equal at least to 0.30 mass%, oxygen content is less than 0.05 mass %. Specific surface of initial powder is no more than 60m/kg. Particle size of initial powder approximately exceeds 100 micrometers. Electrically insulation coating includes phosphorus and oxygen while phosphorus content in powder particles is less than 0.10 mass% and oxygen content - less than 0.20 mass %. In combination with lubricant whose content approximately is less than 4 mass% and(or) with binder, powder forms powdered composition subjected to pressing for making magnetic cores under pressure up to 2000 Mpa. Cores of such material feature excellent magnetic properties.
EFFECT: improved magnetic properties of cores made of powder according to invention.
