SUBSTANCE: composite iron based powder composition contains ground iron particles coated with the first layer containing phosphorus and the second layer of alkali metal silicate combined with a clay mineral containing a phyllosilicate or an organometallic layer with an alkali metal silicate. The present invention also relates to the method for producing a soft magnetic component and to a soft magnetic article for operation at high frequencies.
EFFECT: composite powder composition after pressing and heat treatment provides in the magnetic core an increase in the resistivity and a decrease in hysteresis losses in operation at frequencies above 2 kHz.
