FIELD: packages, particularly caps for vessels adapted to store foamed beverages.
SUBSTANCE: cap for vessel neck sealing comprises sealing gasket to be fixed on bottle neck and provided with convexity in central part thereof. The convexity and plug bottom define hollow space, which act as impact damping means to absorb impacts caused by gas releasing from beverage in bottle. Round sealing gasket is protected from turning with teeth. Tearable safety belt is perforated at an angle to vertical plug axis. Cap production method involves producing round sealing gasket of heat-processing plastic material and deforming thereof by gasket impressing in cap body with the use of cylindrical pressing means provided with heating device.
EFFECT: increased reliability of beverage storage and prevention of beverage foaming and splashing during vessel opening.
