FIELD: methods for manufacturing nonlinear compound frequency transformers.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing nonlinear compound frequency transformer with compensation of laser radiation drift angle, consisting of one or several pairs of oriented, polished plates of nonlinear chalcogenide crystals of AIBIIICIV 2 structure, where A - univalent alkaline cation or Ag+1, B - trivalent cation of Al, Ga or In, C - chalcogen of S, Se or Te. Plates are oriented in pairs relatively to each other with turning of drift angle direction of laser radiation, simultaneous polishing of plate pairs is performed as well as connection by thermo-optic contact in vacuum not below 2·10-2 atmospheres in environment of steams of components, which create current crystalline material during synthesis.
EFFECT: possible usage of crystalline materials, composition of which includes heavy chemical elements, to ensure compensation of laser beam drift angle, to prevent reduction of transformation efficiency on deviation of angle from given angle during processes of surface polishing, ensured optical contact with minimization of losses.
