SUBSTANCE: method involves evaluating introduced plants as to meteorological conditions of introduction region; evaluating response of these plants which are at critical growing phase to diseases, pests peculiar to the given introduction region; selecting sorts, hybrids, basic parent forms to be introduced by selecting plants at their critical growing phase and having evaluation factors coinciding with those reflecting their attitude to meteorological conditions of introduction region.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in selecting of plants for their further introduction into critical regions.
