FIELD: foundry, possibly casting with use of investment patterns, namely casting parts of gas turbine engine of super-alloys.

SUBSTANCE: casting core of refractory metal has coating providing its resistance against oxidation at annealing shell casting mold and prevents reaction starting and(or) melting during casting process. Such coating contains aluminum silicate, in other variants of invention it contains silicide, zirconium silicate, oxides, nitrides, carbides. Coating may contain oxide selected from group including oxides of calcium, magnesium, aluminum, zirconium, chrome, yttrium, silicon, hafnium or their mixtures. In other variant coating includes nitride selected from group containing silicon nitride, sialon, titanium nitride or their mixtures. In specification other variants of forming coating are given.

EFFECT: improved resistance of casting cores against oxidation, lowered trend of cores to micro-cracking.
