FIELD: packages, particularly adapted to pack goods in heat-shrinkable film.
SUBSTANCE: packing method involves supplying lower film 7 and upper film 10; converting lower film into container for good receiving by deep drawing operation; filling the container with product; supplying upper film for container closing; sealing the ready package by heat-shrinking in evacuation-and-sealing station. Before container sealing with upper film upper film side is engaged and gripped. Upper film is released only after container evacuation and sealing along with cutting-out film area between part of lower and upper films adjoining the good and sealed edge. After evacuation and sealing operation termination heat is applied to total package for package shrinking. Device for described method realization is also disclosed.
EFFECT: extended shelf life for packaged product, for instance for meat.
