FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology, nucleotides.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing 5'-xanthylic acid using culturing the mutant strain Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJXOL 0201 deposited at number KCCM 10448 and possessing resistance to oligomycin. For preparing the strain Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJXOL 0201 the strain Corynebacterium ammoniagenes KCCM 10340 is used as a parent strain that is subjected to effect of UV-radiation and mutagens, for example, N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine by standard procedures. Invention provides accumulation of 5'-xanthylic acid in cultural fluid with high yield and the high concentration degree.
EFFECT: valuable properties of strain.
