FIELD: drilling equipment, particularly system to measure mechanical loads in well drilling.

SUBSTANCE: system comprises measuring part including body defined by drill string section, inner pipe having predetermined length and fixed inside the body by the first end thereof. Air-tight chamber is defined between inner body surface and outer surface of inner pipe. At least one the first measuring extension is made inside air-tight chamber and is connected to inner body surface. At least one the second measuring extension is formed on outer surface of inner pipe. Number of the second measuring extensions is equal to that of the first ones. Space to be measured is created between the first and the second measuring extensions. Sensor adapted for said space measurement and remote computing unit, which calculates loads applied to drill string during well drilling on the base of space width information received from said sensor, are also provided. Other embodiments are disclosed too.

EFFECT: increased reliability and efficiency, decreased costs for drill string stress measurement.
