FIELD: drilling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling of inclined wellbores. A device for drilling an inclined wellbore, in one non-limiting embodiment of the invention, contains a drive for rotating a drill bit, a deflecting device that allows the lower section of a drilling arrangement to tilt relatively to an element of the deflecting device within the selected plane, when the drilling arrangement is essentially rotationally immobile, in order to allow drilling a curved section of the wellbore, when the drill bit is rotated by the drive, while the slope of the drilling arrangement is decreased, when the drilling arrangement rotates to allow drilling of a more straight section of the wellbore, and a tilt sensor that provides measurements related to the slope of the lower section. A controller determines a slope-related parameter of interest to control drilling of the inclined borehole.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining drilling rig with the use of self-regulating deflection device and deflection sensors for drilling inclined wells.
