MULTIPLE-SECTION VIBRATION DRIER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F26B17/26 

FIELD: drying technique, in particular, vibration driers used for drying of dispersion and adhesion materials in chemical, food-processing and textile industry.

SUBSTANCE: multiple-section vibration apparatus has casing comprising sections fixed on frame. Each section incorporates sluice feeder, gas feeding system, sluice discharge device, and vibration activated grid connected to vibrator and mounted on inclined springs so that inclination angle may be varied. Gas is delivered to zone under grid, into guiding air duct of variable section through flexible connection between air duct and gas feeding section. Casing above grid is equipped with hermetically sealing cover having opening for connection to smoke exhaust. Heating members are fixed in staggered arrangement on vibration activated grid. Each of said heating members is formed as hollow central rod secured to vibration trough and having diameter d and height h, with electric heating members being located within said rod. At least two hollow bushings are fixed to rod outer surface, perpendicular to rod axis, in two planes, at a distance h₁ from each other, said electric heating members being positioned within said bushings. Material to be dried is transferred from one section to another by means of conveyor. Material parameters and operating characteristics of drier are controlled by computing machine.

EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, enhanced reliability in operation, increased efficiency, improved quality and reduced loss of product.
