FIELD: automatics and computer science, possible use for recognition and selection of given types of signals of colored facsimile messages.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, following operations are introduced: detection of additional standard samples of code combinations in demodulated binary series; determining of local statistics, corresponding to number of appearances of each one of additional code combinations; determining the value of global statistics (Y), equal to sum of values of local statistics; taking of a decision about presence of colored facsimile message, if value Y exceeds value of given global threshold M, and values of local statistics do not exceed corresponding local threshold; also, generation of chains of current additional code combinations; comparison of structure of current chain to structure of chains from bank of standard chains and taking of a decision about presence of colored facsimile message, if the structure of current chain of samples matches with one of structures from the bank of standard chains.
EFFECT: increased precision of automatic recognition of encoded signals of colored facsimile messages.
