FIELD: medicine, hepatology.
SUBSTANCE: diagnostics should be carried out with the help of a reduced multi-factor questionnaire for a person's testing, moreover, replies should be given affirmatively (yes/no) for 71 questions of the second scale "Depression", then comes a factor analysis of these questions with the help of a computer software to evaluate the results in points. At 45-51 points one should diagnose hepatic encephalopathy degree I, at 54-60 - that of degree II, and at 61-69 one should diagnose hepatic encephalopathy degree III. The innovation enables to increase accuracy and information value of diagnostics.
