FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to gastroenterology. There are evaluated volumetric blood flow (Yvol, ml/min) in a hepatic artery (HA), diameters of the HS and a superior mesenteric vein (SMV, mm). For this purpose, the SMV is visualised in a caudal direction from a portal vein, a splenic vein is measured at a level of a body of pancreas, a HA stem - in an area of a portal fissure to a place of its division into the right and left branches. Then a degree of vascularisation of hepatic blood flow (%) is calculated. If the SMV diameter is 8 mm or less, Yvol of the HA is less than 450 ml/min, the HA diameter is less than 5.8 mm, and the degree of vascularisation of hepatic blood flow is 25-30 %, a mild degree of cirrhosis is diagnosed, while the increasing SMV, HA diameters and Yvol relatively to norm and the degree of vascularisation of hepatic blood flow exceeding 38.6 % enables to diagnose a severe degree of cirrhosis.

EFFECT: technique extends the range of products for evaluating the severity of viral and alcoholic cirrhosis.
