FIELD: traumatology and orthopedics, in particular, technique for spine alignment by providing anterior (ventral) wedging of spinal fusion at pathology level, more particular, for distraction and wedging of adjacent vertebras bodies and location of bone transplant into interbody space followed by compression thereof.
SUBSTANCE: distraction apparatus has two extension-type supporting brackets with working members for vertebra arch laminae positioned on guiding stem for longitudinal movement of working members relative to one another, and mechanism for moving thereof. Working members are made U-shaped, with ends bent by 90 deg for abutment against arch laminae of adjacent vertebrae bodies, connection platform-web adapted for placement onto vertebra body surface so that edge of arch lamina of vertebra body is open for access to central part of arch lamina. Movement mechanism is made in the form of two branches secured by means of single pin to form scissor type part. Ends of branches are equipped at the sides of access to vertebrae with pivotal connections, one of pivotal connections being free from stem without movement thereon, and other being provided with movable supporting bracket. Opposite ends of branches are bent from pin in sagittal plane and equipped with fixing member.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in formation of spinal fusion by providing wedging (distraction) of bodies of adjacent vertebrae by desired value with ventral access at any angle to injured region of spine, and due to free placement of bone transplant into formed space centrally of arch laminae of vertebrae bodies followed by compression (wedging) on removal of apparatus.
