FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing anterior chamber, introducing mydriatic and viscoelastic agents. Capsulorhexis is carried out and intracapsular ring is introduced into the capsule sack in a way that its unclosed part is placed in the quadrant opposite to Zinn ligament defect. Then, hydrodissection and hydrodelineation is carried out. Iris retractors fixable in near limb are introduced through additional paracenteses in zone having no Zinn ligament defect, and capsulorhexis edges are caught. Lens nucleus phacoemulsification is carried out with lens mass being next removed. The iris retractors are withdrawn after having implanted intraocular lens.
EFFECT: minimum risk of subluxated lens into the vitreous body; excluded risk of capsule sack shrinkage in remote period.
