APPARATUS FOR POURING METAL TO INGOT MOLDS ARRANGED ON CONVEYER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B22D35/04 

FIELD: process for pouring metal to casting molds in conveyer.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes barrel like vessel with heater and draining branch pipes arranged over ingot molds. Said ingot molds are arranged in parallel rows between which barrel like vessel is place. When ingot molds of one row approach to pouring place said vessel rotates and metal is fed through branch pipes to ingot molds. After terminating pouring of first row of ingot molds barrel like vessel rotates around it lengthwise axis and metal is fed through branch pipes into ingot molds of other row while ingot molds of first row are changed for empty ones. Barrel like vessel and branch pipes are provided with heaters allowing reduce metal sticking onto constructional members.

EFFECT: simplified design of apparatus, improved efficiency of metal pouring, enhanced quality of cast products.
